Is there really a free tier?

Yes, and it never expires — no credit card required to start. Free is exactly its always-free allowance: one small service (0.5 vCPU / 1 GiB) plus a Postgres database and a Redis cache, running forever. It is a complete plan, not a trial — upgrade to Plus when you outgrow a single project or want a bigger service.

How does compute billing work?

Paid plans bill compute monthly in arrears, so you pay only for the time your services run. Each service runs at a CPU and memory ceiling you choose, priced linearly at $12 per vCPU and $4 per GiB, per month. Every plan includes a monthly compute credit equal to its own price, and the always-free 0.5 vCPU / 1 GiB unit comes off every service before anything is billed — so a light month can be a $0 bill.

Can I change plans later?

Anytime. Upgrading unlocks more projects, bigger services, custom domains, and seats right away. To move to a smaller plan, first bring your usage within its limits — the console tells you what to reduce before the switch.

What about team seats?

Free is a single seat. Plus includes 3 seats, Pro includes 10, and Enterprise starts at 25. Extra members are billed per seat — $8/mo on Plus, $6/mo on Pro.
