Acceptable Use Policy
Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") describes what you may not do on Koo. It applies to everything you deploy, store, publish, or transmit using Koo, and to your conduct on the platform. It is part of our Terms of Service, and we may update it as our platform and the threat landscape evolve.
Prohibited content
Do not use Koo to host, store, publish, or transmit content that is illegal or facilitates illegal activity; that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others; that is child sexual abuse material or otherwise sexually exploits or endangers minors; that is defamatory or harassing or promotes violence or self-harm; that contains malware, ransomware, or other malicious code; or that is designed to deceive, defraud, or phish.
Prohibited conduct
Do not use Koo to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system, network, account, or data; to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages; to run phishing, botnet, or command-and-control infrastructure; to impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation; to scrape or harvest data in violation of others’ terms or the law; or to circumvent our platform limits, quotas, billing, or security controls.
Resource and platform abuse
Do not use hosted services to abuse compute, storage, or network resources. Prohibited uses include cryptocurrency mining, denial-of-service or amplification traffic, open relays or anonymizing or proxy services intended to conceal abuse, and any workload engineered to evade metering, quotas, or fair-use limits.
Security testing
You may test only applications and systems that you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Do not use Koo to run vulnerability scans, penetration tests, load tests, or exploits against systems you do not control, including Koo’s own infrastructure, except through a channel we designate.
Responsibility for your users
If your application is used by others, you are responsible for their use of it as it relates to Koo and this policy, and for having appropriate terms and safeguards in place. Abuse that originates from your application is your responsibility.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle or disable workloads, and suspend or terminate accounts, with or without notice depending on the severity and any legal requirements. We prioritize keeping the platform and its users safe; where practical we will tell you what happened and how to resolve it.

To report a violation of this policy, contact support@koo.io with enough detail for us to locate and assess the issue. To report copyright infringement specifically, follow the process in our DMCA Notice.
